Annagh Medical Centre operates an ‘appointment only’ clinic from 9 am to 5 pm daily. To obtain an appointment please contact our reception staff by calling 094-9632232 or by attending the medical centre in person to book an appointment. 


Please Note:

  • Blood tests are carried out on Monday and Tuesday morning only so they can be processed in hospital laboratory in time via HSE courier service.

  • In the event that you are unable to attend that appointment a cancellation is required.

  • Appointments are usually for one problem only.  If you would like to discuss other problems or feel you will need more time please ask for a longer appointment and we will do our best to accommodate.

Genuinely Urgent/Emergency cases are seen on the day

Telephone Consultation Service With Dr Delaney

Dr Delaney runs a Telephone Consultation Service most days should you be unable to attend
the surgery and where a short phone call may assist rather than having to attend surgery.
Note charges may apply for non-medical card holders.

House Call Protocol

To ensure optimum medical treatment Annagh Medical Centre encourages patients where possible to attend for GP consultation in the medical centre.  Where this is not possible house call requests will be passed on to the GP.  Annagh Medical Centre will endeavour to attend requested house calls but cannot guarantee a timely attendance on every occasion.  If you are in need of urgent medical attention, we advise you contact the emergency
services by dialling 999 or attend Emergency Department.

Out of Hours Care - WESTDOC

Out of hours care is provided by Westdoc at 0818 360 000. Westdoc provides urgent
medical care between the hours of 6pm and 8am Monday to Friday inclusive. Weekends & Bank Holidays are also covered by Westdoc.
WESTDOC is a partnership between the General Practitioners in the West region and the Health Service Executive.
The treatment centre is in Knock in Co Mayo. Each centre is fully equipped to meet the needs of the patients. Details of your consultation will be automatically forwarded to your own GP the following working day.
WESTDOC is not a walk-in service and all patients must phone WESTDOC to see if an
appointment is necessary.
